Miss your goal.
Lose your apps.
Set a fitness goal and put your favorite apps on the line.
When quitting costs something, you stop quitting.
Motivation gets you to download a fitness app. It won't get you off the couch on a rainy Tuesday. Consequences will.
The Dare Put something
Put something
on the line
- Pick a goal: daily steps, exercise minutes,
calories burned, or a bedtime. - Choose the apps you'll hate us for locking.
- From that moment, your goal has teeth.
Verified, not logged No check-ins.
No check-ins.
No cheating.
- Your steps, workouts, and calories come straight from Apple Health.
- Nothing to log. No photo proof, no honor-system checkbox to lie to.
- The only way to keep your apps is to
actually do the thing.
The Lock Miss your goal,
Miss your goal,
and your apps lock
- Only the apps you chose lock. The rest of your phone stays yours.
- Make the goal up and they open right back.
Hit it on time and nothing ever locks. - No guilt trips, no broken streak emoji.
A consequence you actually feel.
Earn it back Do it perfectly.
Do it perfectly.
We pay you back.
- Earn a free month on your yearly plan when you hit all your goals, every day, for four consecutive weeks.
- Your target is set from your own average for the 30 days before Dare, so a perfect week means you really are doing more than you were.
- A rest week pauses your run without breaking it.
Flexible, not fragile Life happens.
Life happens.
Plan for it.
- Bank a rest day and spend it when you need it.
- Move a session to another day, or pause
the whole week for a holiday. - Dare keeps you honest without punishing you for having a life.

Habit trackers ask nicely.
Dare doesn't.
Streaks, reminders, and screen-time limits all share one flaw: ignoring them is free. Dare adds a cost. Here's the difference.

straight answers
What happens if I miss my goal?
The apps you chose lock until you make the goal up. Do the work, and they open right back up. Immediately.
Can I cheat it?
Not realistically. Goals are verified from Apple Health sensor data, not self-reporting. There's no "mark as done" button to lie to.
What if I genuinely can't make it one day?
Use a rest day, move the session, or take a rest week, all before the deadline. Flexibility is built in; excuses aren't.
You'll really give me a free month?
Yes, and it isn't a trial. Meet every goal on every scheduled day for four weeks in a row on a yearly plan, and you can claim a free month, up to three a year. The catch is that the weeks have to be genuinely perfect, and your targets have to be at least what Dare worked out from your own activity, so dropping them to collect doesn't work.
Is my health data safe?
Your Apple Health data is only ever used to verify your goals. Never for ads, never sold. The apps you lock stay private on your device.
Would you dare?
Set your goals and show up.
Else, lose the apps you love until you do.
